Italy: E‑invoicing has been mandatory since January 2019 for B2G, B2B, and later B2C transactions


Germany: B2B e‑invoicing mandate phases


France: B2B e‑invoicing rolls out in two phases


Belgium: Mandatory B2B e‑invoicing from 1 January


Romania: General B2B e‑invoicing in place since January 2024


Greece: B2B mandate expected by January 2025


Croatia: Full B2B mandate anticipated by 2025

Spain: Mandate approved, but regulation pending; likely to proceed around 2027


Finland: E‑invoicing is mandated for B2G since April 2020. B2B is voluntary, but businesses with turnover over €10,000 may require it
